Binghamton University Student Wins 2nd Place in Vocal Competition

BINGHAMTON, NY (04/05/2013)(readMedia)-- Binghamton University student Hana Ryu from Johnson City, New York participated in the National Association of Teachers Singing Vocal Competition, held March 15-17, in Ithaca, New York.

Over 150 students from approximately 20 schools participated in the competition.

Ryu was honored a 2nd place prize in the Graduate Upper Division.

The Eastern Region of NATS is made up of six Districts: Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Quebec and West Virginia.They are one of the largest divisions in the Association and they offer many workshops and student auditions at the District and Chapter levels. In addition, there is a Regional Conference and Student Auditions every year.
