Binghamton University student receives Distinguished Senior Recognition Award in Geography

BINGHAMTON, NY (06/07/2012)(readMedia)-- Binghamton University student Amy L. Cubbage from Lansdale, PA, recently received the Distinguished Senior Recognition Award in Geography.

This award is presented to a graduating senior who is in good academic standing. The student must also submit an essay to the Honors Committee describing their area of specialization, their experience in studying at Binghamton University, their community or university service and their future goals on how they intend on using the Geography degree.

Binghamton University is one of the four university centers of the State University of New York. Known for the excellence of its students, faculty, staff and programs, Binghamton enrolls close to 15,000 students in programs leading to bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. Its curriculum, founded in the liberal arts, has expanded to include selected professional and graduate programs.
