Black Creek Resident Receives Scholarship to Mount Mary College

MILWAUKEE, WI (04/08/2013)(readMedia)-- Natalie Guyette, daughter of Pat and Mary Guyette, has been awarded a Caroline Scholarship to Mount Mary College for the 2013-2014 school year.

The Caroline Scholarship is a renewable award presented to students who have demonstrated a high level of school and/or community involvement, service, leadership or success outside the classroom.

"We're delighted Natalie has selected Mount Mary College to pursue her dream of earning a college degree, said Eileen Schwalbach, PhD., president of Mount Mary College. "We awarded Natalie a Caroline Scholarship based on her application, achievements, and outstanding potential. Natalie is an exceptional woman who is focused on her education, has strong leadership skills and believes in Mount Mary's mission of social justice."

Mount Mary College, founded in 1913 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, was Wisconsin's first

four-year, degree-granting Catholic college for women. Located on an 80-acre campus in Milwaukee, the College offers more than 60 undergraduate areas of study for women and seven graduate programs for women and men. Mount Mary also emphasizes study abroad, service learning, and social justice initiatives.
