Blue Ribbons Earned for Best Beer Brews at Iowa State Fair

DES MOINES, IA (08/09/2013)(readMedia)-- Iowa's amateur beer makers brewed their best for the beer portion of the Amateur Oenology competition judged July 27 prior to the start of the 2013 Iowa State Fair.

Paul Kay of Burlington won Best of Show honors with his Eisbock brew.

Seventy-one exhibitors entered 220 brews in 25 categories.
