CHESTER, PA (05/21/2012)(readMedia)-- Donald M. Bohn III of Auburn, Pa., was commissioned as a second lieutenant of the U.S. Army on Thursday, May 10 through the ROTC program at Widener University. He graduated from Widener on May 12 with a bachelor's degree in English.

During his senior year at Widener, Bohn served as the Alpha Company public affairs officer and assistant logistics officer. He is a graduate of the Leader's Development and Assessment Course.

Bohn will enter the U.S. Army Reserve as a combat engineer officer. He will attend the Army's Engineer Basic Officer Leader Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., with a follow on assignment to HQ 990th Engineer Company at Fort Dix, N.J.
