Brandon Citrano of Middle River is Inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa

CHESTERTOWN, MD (03/19/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Brandon Citrano '14 of Middle River, MD was recently inducted into the Alpha Psi Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa sheltered at Washington College.

Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, was founded December 3, 1914 at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. The founders formulated the idea that leadership of exceptional quality and versatility in college should be recognized, that representatives in all phases of college life should cooperate in worthwhile endeavors, and that outstanding students, faculty and administrators should meet on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness.

Citrano is majoring in psychology and serves as vice president of development for the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He is a member of the national psychology honor society, Psi Chi, and also participates in the Habitat for Humanity program. A graduate of Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School, he received Kappa Sigma's Scholarship-Leadership Award last semester.

Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
