Brianna Billingsley receives her award from Reginald Byron, assistant professor of sociology

GEORGETOWN, TX (03/06/2014)(readMedia)-- Brianna Billingsley of Granger received the 2014 Frank E. Luksa Award in Sociology from Southwestern University in Georgetown.

This award was established in 1974 in honor of Frank Luksa, former head of the Sociology Department at Southwestern, and is presented to the best student in sociology.

Billingsley received the award at the University's Honors Convocation March 1.
