Bruce Hornsby, a Grammy award winning legend, is breaking from a nationwide tour to play at Hampden-Sydney College, where he last performed in 2004. Over the last two decades, Hornsby packs venues with his creative improvisations and spontaneity.

About Bruce Hornsby
Hornsby, a native of Virginia, draws from jazz, bluegrass, rock, and jam band traditions in his song writing which won him three Grammys including Best New Artist Grammy in 1987 with Bruce Hornsby and the Range, Best Bluegrass Recording Grammy in 1990, and Best Pop Instrumental Grammy in 1993. Bruce has also found success on the charts with two albums peaking in the top 5 and numerous hits in the Billboard Top 10. Not only has Bruce experienced success on his own, but his hit, The Way It Is, was sampled by Hip-Hop artist Tupac Shakur and he was a regular with The Grateful Dead from 1990-1992 playing over a hundred shows with them before 1995.
