Budgeting and Financial Accountability For Not-For-Profit Organizations

ALBANY, NY (09/24/2007)(readMedia)-- The Empire State Society of Associations Executives, Inc. (ESSAE) will hold a seminar and keynoted luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Albany, N.Y.

The seminar on “Budgeting and Financial Accountability for Not-For-Profit Organizations” will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 12 p.m. A reception will follow from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. The luncheon will start at 12:30 p.m. and end around 2 p.m.

Edward J. McMillan, CPA, CAE, a not-for-profit financial management expert, will present the morning seminar. He will provide attendees with tools to establish effective financial policies and procedures, including his Continuous Budgeting System that can eliminate virtually eliminate the year-end budgeting process.

McMillan will give a keynote during the luncheon highlighting points from the morning seminar.

The cost to attend the seminar and luncheon for ESSAE members is $90 and $120 for nonmembers. Reduced rates are available for multiple staff attending from the same organization.
