BUFFALO, NY (11/11/2011)(readMedia)-- A public information session on transportation planning for Western New York will be held

Tuesday, Nov. 15, 5-7 p.m., at United Way Building, 742 Delaware Ave., Buffalo.

The program is part of the Mohawk-Erie Multimodal Transportation Corridor Study co-sponsored by the New York State Department of Transportation and the New York State Thruway Authority, in cooperation with the New York State Canal Corporation.

The format is informal. Stop in any time between 5-7 p.m. Stay as long as you like. View the charts, pick up information, ask questions, share your comments and project ideas. For more information, see www.dot.ny.gov/mohawk-erie-study .

The study looks toward future transportation needs and priorities for the 400-mile Mohawk-Erie Corridor along I-90 that connects Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany.
