Buffalo Law Student Receives New York Bar Foundation Elder Law Scholarship

ALBANY, NY (12/18/2012)(readMedia)-- Bradley Loliger, a third-year law student at University at Buffalo Law School, is the recipient of the Elder Law Section Scholarship, The New York Bar Foundation announced today.

"We are pleased to award Mr. Loliger this noteworthy scholarship," said Bar Foundation President Cristine Cioffi of Niskayuna (Cioffi•Slezak•Wildgrube). "He has demonstrated a commitment to the legal profession through his studies, real-world experience and passion for assisting the elderly and not-for-profit public interest work."

Loliger is a third-year law student at the University at Buffalo, where he received his bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, and a master's degree in social work. He is a law student intern with the Legal Services for the Elderly, Disabled or Disadvantaged of Western New York. He also interns at Gate-Longview, a child and family-service organization.

He will receive a $2,500 scholarship, sponsored by the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.

"Bradley has demonstrated a passion and commitment to the rights of seniors and the disabled throughout his law school career, while at the same time maintaining the highest academic standards. He truly embodies the prototype for the elder law attorney of the future".
