Buffalo State Team Places Third in Adirondack Cup Competition

A team of three students in Buffalo State's economics program earned a return of 6.41 percent on a hypothetical investment of $1 million. The team placed third in a field of 21 colleges and universities taking part in the Adirondack Cup challenge, sponsored by Adirondack Funds. The Russell 2000 Index, a small-cap stock market index that is the benchmark for the competition, declined by minus 5.09 percent over the same time period.
