Burns native presents research at annual undergraduate conference

WALLA WALLA, WA (05/08/2012)(readMedia)-- Nathan Neff-Mallon of Burns, Ore. recently presented at the annual Whitman College Undergraduate Conference on Tuesday, April 10. His presentation was titled "Palladium Catalyzed Coupling Reactions of the 1-carba-closo-dodecaborate ."

Neff-Mallon, the son of Gordan and Sandra Mallon of Silverton, is a 2007 graduate of Burns High School. He is currently a senior chemistry major at Whitman and he will be attending graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison next year.

The undergraduate conference is an annual opportunity for Whitman students to share their research and creative projects with the community. Presentations are given by students in all disciplines.
