Campbellsville University Carver School of Social Work to hold open house in Somerset

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (02/13/2012)(readMedia)-- Campbellsville University's Carver School of Social Work and Counseling is hosting an open house for persons interested in the professional careers offered by the school on Thursday, March 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church, located at 128 N. Main St, downtown Somerset.
The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Darlene Eastridge, dean of the Carver School of Social Work and Counseling, said, " The Carver School provides an opportunity for academic preparation as a social worker, academic counselor or marriage and family therapist."
Carver's undergraduate programs are offered in the day at the Campbellsville location, and in the evening for working adults at Somerset, Louisville and Campbellsville's primary location.
The Master of Social Work is offered at the main campus in Campbellsville yet only one night a week is necessary for on campus attendance.
The Master of Science in Counseling, including the marriage and family options is offered at both the Campbellsville and Louisville locations.
