CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (01/22/2019) (readMedia)-- Hannah Cox, national manager of Conservatives Concerned About the Death Penalty, will be speaking at Campbellsville University Monday, Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. in the Banquet Hall of the Badgett Academic Support Center, 110 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky.

The public is invited to the event that is part of Campbellsville University's Quality Enhancement Plan pertaining to the university's accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

Conservatives Concerned About the Death Penalty is a network of political and social conservatives who question the alignment of capital punishment with conservative principles and values. They are a project of Equal Justice USA, a national organization working to end the death penalty in the United States.

Cox joins the Conservatives Concerned About the Death Penalty from the Beacon Center of Tennessee, a free market think tank that works to advance limited government and individual liberty.

She previously worked with the Tennessee Firearms Association (TFA), the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and Entertainment One.

Cox graduated with a degree in business administration from Belmont University and serves as the vice chairman of the board for This is Living Ministries, a Tennessee nonprofit that works with women struggling with addiction who are leaving the criminal justice system.
