Campbellsville University's Wes Carter receives doctorate

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (06/22/2018) (readMedia)-- CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Wes Carter, executive director of university outreach and an instructor at Campbellsville University, recently completed his Doctor of Business Administration, Marketing degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minn.
Carter's dissertation was "Media Marketing Strategies University Leaders Use to Increase Alumni Financial Support" and can be found on ProQuest's online database.
"The experience of pursuing and completing my doctoral degree has enabled me to grow individually, professionally and mentally as I have learned more acutely the importance of perseverance, patience and hard work. Each of these qualities translates positively into the workplace," Carter said.
Carter has a bachelor's degree in political science; a master's degree in business administration, marketing; a master's in theology; a master's degree in management and leadership, all from Campbellsville University. He is working on a master of divinity degree from Baptist Seminary of Kentucky.
Carter also serves as instructor in business administration and theology at CU.
He is the son of Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University, and his wife, Debbie. He is married to Ariel Darnell Carter, university outreach research coordinator at Campbellsville University.
