Canal Corporation Announces Summer Hours of Operation Along Canal System
ALBANY, NY (05/21/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York State Canal Corporation today reminds boaters that the summer hours for navigation on the Canal System will begin on Thursday, May 27, 2010, and will be in effect through Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
The summer hours will be from 7 a.m. through 10 p.m. daily.

The New York State Thruway Authority/Canal Corporation offers a free email service called TRANSalert to its customers via email or text messaging to inform them of major incidents and emergencies that may affect travel on the Thruway or navigation on the Canal System.
