Canalway Trail in Ogden Re-Opens Oct. 20

Embankment Repairs Completed

The Canalway Trail in the Town of Ogden re-opens on Thursday Oct. 20, the New York State Canal Corporation announced.

A portion of the Canalway Trail was closed for repairs on Oct. 6. Canal Corporation workers placed sheet pilings along the embankment to prevent seepage to the surrounding areas. The repair work did not have an impact on boat traffic.

The Canal Corporation thanks the public for its patience during these repairs.
