ST. MARY'S CITY, MD (06/14/2013)(readMedia)-- St. Mary's College of Maryland announces that Lindsay Jamieson, native of Carmel, IN, has been reappointed with tenure and promoted to Associate Professor of Computer Science. Jamieson joined the St. Mary's faculty in 2007. She holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Clemson University. She teaches courses in introductory computer science, algorithmic development, and discrete mathematics. She is also co-advisor for the Women in Science living and learning community on campus.
St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
