Carol Torres-Reyes of Harrisburg, was recently recognized as a stellar student.

SUMMERDALE, PA (05/30/2013)(readMedia)-- Entrepreneurship & small business associate degree student Carol Torres-Reyes of Harrisburg, was recently recognized as a stellar student by faculty and staff at Central Penn College's 131st Commencement ceremony May 3. Torres-Reyes is a member of Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society with a GPA of 3.71. She is interning with the Cumberland Valley Economic Development Corporation. Torres-Reyes treats school like her job, while juggling her responsibilities as a mother of three children.

"She works hard academically and maintains an upbeat demeanor when faced with challenges or obstacles," says Lead College Advisor & First Year Experience Coordinator Shaashawn Dial. "In tough times she reaches out – communicating with essential faculty and staff and faculty concerning academics and employment. Torres-Reyes takes on responsibility and executes consistently. In addition, we have yet to see her dressed down – she is consistently in professional dress attire."
