Casey Cavanagh of Blauvelt, N.Y. wins Outstanding Poster Award

HAMDEN, CT (05/13/2010)(readMedia)-- Casey Cavanagh of Blauvelt, N.Y, a psychology major in the College of Arts and Sciences at Quinnipiac University, was awarded an Outstanding Poster Award in the undergraduate category at the Sigma Xi Northeast Regional Student Poster Conference.

The event was held April 17 at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station and hosted by the Quinnipiac Chapter of Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society.

Cavanagh was recognized for her presentation, "An Examination of UR Habituation in Eyeblink Classical Conditioning/Learning in Individuals with ADHD." Assisting her was Joan Bombace, a professor of psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences.
