Catherine Lee Smith a Candidate for Undergraduate Degree at Emporia State University

EMPORIA, KAN. (01/20/2012)(readMedia)-- Catherine Lee Smith of Bonner Springs, Kan., was a candidate for graduation from Emporia State University during commencement exercises Dec. 17. Smith earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in information systems.

Just more than 550 students were candidates for undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Commencement speakers included Fred Logan of Leawood, a member of the Kansas Board of Regents. The commencement address was delivered by Dr. J. Richard Schrock, ESU professor of biology and the 2011 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor.
