BRISTOL, RI (02/03/2010)(readMedia)-- Roger Williams University is now accepting applications for the Ceasar Brito Memorial Scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year. This scholarship was created in 1998 to honor the life of Ceasar Brito, a well-known businessman, philanthropist and civic leader. For over a decade, this scholarship has assisted many Bristol residents in achieving their educational goals at RWU.
The scholarship is available to an incoming full-time freshman student majoring in engineering. The recipient must be a Bristol resident at the time of acceptance to the University, have demonstrated academic achievement and be in need of financial assistance. If no one fits the criteria, residents majoring in other disciplines will be considered. Application deadline is March 1, 2010.
