Cedarville School of Nursing Celebrates 40 Years of Excellence

In hospital rooms, rural clinics and global crisis zones alike, Cedarville University nursing graduates have spent the past 40 years delivering care marked by compassion, skill and Christ-centered purpose.

That journey began in 1985, when 30 students became the first to graduate from Cedarville's School of Nursing. This fall, the university celebrated homecoming by honoring the inaugural class and the legacy it launched.

Since awarding its first degrees, the School of Nursing has grown significantly. For the 2025-26 academic year, 478 undergraduate nursing students are enrolled, along with more than 170 online graduate students in the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and 21 students enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs.
