I can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday!"

The event will take place in the fitness center and Fireside Lounge in the IDX Student Life Center on South Willard St. Attendees can customize their day by selecting the fitness classes they wish to attend, what times they will be meeting with industry professionals to get tips on how to improve health, and when they choose to be pampered with a complimentary chair massage or mani/pedi.

"A burpee is an exercise that utilizes all your core muscles by dropping into a plank position, then jumping your legs into a squat and standing. We've committed to 1 million as a College because we want to show how we're dedicated to creating an active culture of fitness on campus," said Ebstein. "And we're all masochists. Ha ha."

Lunch will be served from 1 to 3 p.m., with a seminar at noon with dietitian Sumra Harper-Deas about making smart meal choices. Participants can bring home recipe cards and lots of valuable nutrition tips. Lunch will include high-protein recovery foods, as well as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diet options.

Sustain Champlain will provide stainless steel water bottles and talk about healthy sustainable ways to commute, support Fair Trade, and more. They will also be helping to sort trash and compost.
