Chelsea Clifton of Montgomery Presents Paper at Scientific Meeting on Aging

EVANSVILLE, IN (11/26/2013)(readMedia)-- The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Chelsea Clifton of Montgomery, Indiana, presented a paper at the Gerontological Society of America's 66th Annual Scientific Meeting on November 22 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Clifton is a graduate of Loogootee Junior-Senior High School majoring in sociology.

Clifton presented "Bridging the Gap: Perceptions of Young Adults on Aging and Interactions with Older Adults," co-authored with UE assistant professor of sociology Mari Plikuhn and fellow UE sociology major Sarah Spalding of Princeton, Indiana.

This year, the Gerontological Society of America's Annual Scientific Meeting brought together more than 4,000 people in the field of aging to participate in more than 400 scientific sessions, including paper and poster presentations.
