PHILADELPHIA, PA (07/06/2011)(readMedia)-- Cherry Hill resident Anh My Tran graduated from Drexel University with a perfect 4.0 grade point average. More than 5,000 students received degrees from Drexel this year at the University's 124th Commencement.

Tran received a Bachelor of Science Degree in chemical engineering from Drexel's College of Engineering. Anh attended Liden Hall High school.

Paul E. Gray, president emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and professor emeritus in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, received an honorary degree.

Founded in 1891 in Philadelphia, Drexel is the nation's 14th largest private university and is ranked second among national universities in the U.S. News list of "Up-and-Comers." Drexel is widely recognized for its focus on experiential learning through its co-operative education program and translational research initiatives.
