ROCHESTER, NY (04/23/2010)(readMedia)-- Nazareth College is pleased to announce that two of its graduating seniors were selected to receive French Government English Teaching Assistantships for the upcoming academic year.  Christa Wirth of Liverpool, N.Y., will be teaching in Rennes, France. She is a French major with a minor in history. After Wirth returns, she plans on attending graduate school to become certified to teach French.

She joins Daniel Munier of Fairport, N.Y., who will be teaching in Lyon, France. These competitive assistantships give students a chance to gain experience in their field and improve their language skills as well as foster cross-cultural understanding.

Founded in 1924, Nazareth College is a coeducational college with undergraduate and graduate studies in the liberal arts and sciences and professional programs in health and human services, education, and management. The College is located on 150 scenic acres near Rochester, New York, and currently enrolls approximately 2,000 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students.
