Christina Giles named Centre College homecoming queen

DANVILLE, KY (11/04/2010)(readMedia)-- Christina Giles of Lexington, a senior at Centre College, was named queen during homecoming festivities on the Centre College campus Oct. 23. She was crowned, along with king Alwyn McLeod of Dorchester, Mass., during halftime of Centre's football matchup with Millsaps College.
Giles, who was selected by fellow students, is very involved in campus life at Centre. She is a four-year member of the women's soccer team, a resident assistant, a member of Sigma Delta Pi academic honor society for Spanish, and has been on Centre's dean's list every term.
She is the daughter of Sheila Giles and Tracy Giles, both of Lexington, and is a graduate of Woodford County High School.
