LEWISBURG, WV (12/11/2017) (readMedia)-- Christmas at the State Fair of West Virginia will open tomorrow, Tuesday, December 12, at 4 pm! The event will take place in the AG Pavilion on the north end of the grounds and will feature a synthetic ice skating rink and Christmas light display from December 12 – January 1!
Santa Claus will make special appearances on Dec 16, 17 and 23 from 3 – 5 pm. Regular hours of operation will be Monday-Friday from 4 pm – 10 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 2 pm – 10 pm. Admission to skate is $20 for adults (13 and up) and $10 for children (12 and under).
"We are very excited to open the doors for the first-ever Christmas at the Fair," State Fair CEO Kelly Collins stated. "The synthetic ice rink was something new to us, but it is great for beginners, like myself! We hope that this is a tradition we can contiune to grow each year!"
