Claire Matthews Earns All-SCAC Honor

GEORGETOWN, TX (11/27/2012)(readMedia)-- Southwestern women's soccer placed six players on the All-SCAC team this season.

Claire Matthews, Paige Duggins, Hannah Neil, Chelsea Letzer and Sarah Nonaka all earned a spot on the Second Team All-SCAC with their play this season.

Matthews, a defender from San Antonio, Texas, was solid in the backfield, helping the Pirates earn six shutout victories on the season and two more ties.

Southwestern ended the year at 6-11-2 overall and 4-3-1 in the SCAC after falling to the University of Dallas in the SCAC Conference Semifinals.
