POTSDAM, NY (08/30/2012)(readMedia)-- Clarkson University's Northern New York Robotics Academy and its traveling Robot Zone exhibit will be at the New York State Fair this Saturday, September 1, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the 4-H Youth Building.
Students from Clarkson's Robotics Living-Learning Community and Robotics SPEED team will provide hands-on demonstrations of the FIRST pipeline of extra-curricular programs, as well as in-class lesson plans developed by K-12 teachers that make use of the same technology with third party probes, and some research-oriented robotics, including a quad-copter and assistive robotic devices. FIRST stands for "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology."
