Her research was also featured in a science museum event about the science of skateboarding at the Exploratorium in San Francisco, Calif.
Stefano received the Mechanical Engineering Staff award, which is presented to the most promising senior in mechanical engineering. She has been on the president's list for seven semesters and the dean's list for one semester. Stefano will graduate with a 3.96 GPA.
Stefano was a student in the Clarkson School during her first year and received the Clarkson School Outstanding Scholar Award.
She served as the co-president and treasurer of the Society of Women Engineers and participated in the FIRST robotics SPEED team during her senior year.
