ST. MARY'S CITY, MD (06/29/2011)(readMedia)-- Elizabeth Clune-Kneuer, assistant director of institutional research at St. Mary's College of Maryland, has earned a fellowship for the 2011 National Summer Data Policy Institute sponsored by the Association of Institutional Research (AIR) with support from National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). During her fellowship she will be focusing on methodological and technical topics related to the large national datasets housed at the NCES and NSF. This is her second fellowship with AIR. This year she also served as president-elect to the Maryland chapter of AIR with this fall beginning her one-year leadership role as president.
Clune-Kneuer received her bachelor of arts from University of Delaware and her master's in education from the University of Virginia, and has worked at St. Mary's College of Maryland since 2008. She directs the college's institutional research and reporting activities for state and federal agencies as well as for commercial college guides published by Barron's, Forbes, and U.S. News & World Report.
St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
