HARTSVILLE, S.C. (03/01/2013)(readMedia)-- Coker College men's soccer coach Paul Leese announced today that David Arensdorf, Kyndle Cobb, Adam Murphy, Matt Lloyd, Noah Gulley and Caleb Fenner have all agreed to play for the Cobras.
Arensdorf is a defender from Raleigh, N.C. He attended Millbrook High School and was a four-year letterwinner on the varsity soccer team. He was a team captain, team MVP, and all-region selection. Arensdorf led his team in assists his junior and senior seasons and led the program in total points scored over his four-year career with six goals and 17 assists.
David is the son of Dave and Laurie Arensdorf.
Cobb, a goalkeeper, hails from Oviedo, Fla., where he was a two-sport athlete in soccer and volleyball at Oviedo High School. Cobb was the 2011-12 varsity soccer player of the year and a Seminole Athletic Conference honorable mention selection.
Kyndle is the son of Bryan and Beth Cobb.
Murphy, a midfielder, is from Piedmont, S.C. He attended Wren High School, where he was a three-year member of the varsity soccer team. Murphy was part of three straight regional championships for the Hurricanes.
Adam is the son of Chris and Dana Murphy.
Lloyd is a midfielder from Raleigh, N.C., where he attended Millbrook High School. He started 42 of 44 games for the varsity team over three years, serving as a captain his senior season. Lloyd made the Cap 8 all-conference team as a senior and was an academic all-conference selection as a junior.
Matt is the son of Beth Lloyd and David and Brittany Lloyd.
Gulley, a center back, is from Pawleys Island, S.C. He was a three-sport athlete in soccer, basketball and football at Waccamaw High School. In soccer, Gulley was a three-time all-region and two-time all-state selection.
Noah is the son of Gary and Janet Lloyd.
Fenner is a midfielder from Greenwood High School in Greenwood, S.C. His team won the South Carolina 4A Region 1 championship during his sophomore and junior seasons.
Caleb is the son of Trey and Beth Fenner.
