Coker College Student Axia Johnson Inducted into Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society

HARTSVILLE, S.C. (04/11/2012)(readMedia)-- Coker College is pleased to announce that Axia Johnson has been selected to be a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association's official honor society at four-year colleges and universities. Johnson is a senior communication major from Hartsville, S.C.

Lambda Pi Eta recognizes, fosters and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement while stimulating interest in the communication discipline. Membership is open to students who have completed 60 credit hours and 12 credit hours in communication, who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 and a 3.25 GPA in communication courses, and who are in the top 35 percent of their graduating class.

Coker College's Lambda Pi Eta induction ceremony was held April 11 in the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center.
