HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (09/22/2010)(readMedia)-- Hampden-Sydney College junior John Colbert Lucey recently presented his Summer Research Honors Project in a public presentation at the College. Colbert is one of a select group of students who undertake summer research in conjunction with members of the Hampden-Sydney faculty. Each project is evaluated on its originality, on the thoroughness of its research methods, and on the quality of its findings.
Colbert's project, for history, was entitled, "Burgundians: Exploring the concept of Volkerwanderung through history, archaeology, and literature." He is a graduate of St. Mark's School in Southborough, MA, and is the son of the Reverend David J. Lucey and Katherine H. Lucey of Bristol.
