Company G, 3rd Battalion, 126th Aviation Regiment (MEDEVAC) Sendoff Ceremony at Bangor Highschool
AUGUSTA, ME (04/17/2018) (readMedia)-- AUGUSTA - Maj. Gen. Douglas A. Farnham, The Adjutant General for the Maine National Guard, announced that approximately 150 members of Company G, 3rd Battalion, 126th Aviation Regiment (MEDEVAC) out of Bangor will be deploying to Southwest Asia.
Company G is an Aeromedical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) company that provides emergency enroute patient care, and movement of medical personnel and medical supplies in a theater of operations. The unit includes Soldiers from Maine, DC and Idaho.
Continuing Maine's great tradition of supporting our nation's call to duty, the unit will deploy to Southwest Asia to perform this mission in the region. The unit has deployed multiple times in its history, to Germany, Guatemala, Bosnia, Kuwait and Iraq.
