Conference Set to Examine State of the Law One Year after Oil Catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico

BRISTOL, RI (03/25/2011)(readMedia)-- Marking nearly one year following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, "Blowout: The Legal Legacy of the Deepwater Horizon Catastrophe," will look at the law's response to the disaster as well as its lasting legal impact. Changes to law and regulation contemplated by Congress and the President's National Commission, tort liability, and natural resource damages will be discussed.
