MASTIC, NY (03/19/2008)(readMedia)-- The Republican Party’s endorsed candidate for New York’s First Congressional District, today announced the upgrade of the campaign’s headquarters from William Floyd Parkway in Shirley to 1402 Montauk Highway in Mastic.
"We quickly outgrew our last campaign headquarters in Shirley,” said Lee Zeldin, the GOP candidate for the Eastern Long Island Congressional district. “We promptly needed a larger office to facilitate the outpouring of volunteer support we’ve seen this early in the campaign.”
Zeldin also discussed the importance of keeping his campaign headquarters close to his home and family in Brookhaven and how he couldn’t think of any better location than Montauk Highway in the heart of Mastic. Attached is a photo of the new Zeldin headquarters in Mastic.
Zeldin served as an aide to State Senator Kenneth P. LaValle. The Shirley resident studied at the University at Albany, graduated from Albany Law School, and earned his commission through Army ROTC. He was a paratrooper, prosecutor and magistrate with the 82nd Airborne Division and XVIII Airborne Corps. In the summer of 2006, he was a JAG attorney deployed to Iraq. He is currently an attorney at Raiser & Kenniff on Long Island.
