HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (03/02/2011)(readMedia)-- Hampden-Sydney College senior Conor Patrick Sanders was initiated on February 24th into Omicron Delta Epsilon. Conor, an economics and commerce major, is a graduate of Boys' Latin School of Maryland and is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Barry M. Sanders of Baltimore.
Omicron Delta Epsilon is the national honorary fraternity in economics, a chapter of which was established at Hampden-Sydney in 1971, to stimulate interest in the study of and the application of economics and to recognize outstanding economics students.
A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked in the top tier of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the needs of young men.
