MILTON , MA (03/01/2010)(readMedia)-- Curry College Theatre is pleased to announce that Winchester resident, Madeline Merenda, daughter of Susan Merenda, has written The Vicious Cycle in the fourth annual New Plays Festival at Curry College.
Madeline a 2008 graduate of Winchester High School is now a sophomore at the college, majoring in communication. Since joining the Curry Theatre program Madeline has performed on stage in To See The Stars, He's Got The Whole World In His Hands and performed in last semesters' production of Romeo and Juliet. Madeline has served Curry Theatre as assistant Costume Manager and is currently serving as Costume Manager this semester.
The New Plays Festival, showcasing original student 5-10 minute one act plays, will run Saturday, March 6 through Monday, March 8 at 7:30 pm with an extra 4:00 pm matinee on Sunday, in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $5 and are available for purchase at the door.
Curry College is a 131-year old, private, four-year, liberal arts institution located on 135 acres in Milton, MA. Curry extends its educational programs to a continuing education branch campus in Plymouth.
