EVANSVILLE, IN (11/29/2011)(readMedia)-- The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Daniel Caruana of Crown Point presented a paper at the Gerontological Society of America's 64th Annual Scientific Meeting on November 20 in Boston, Massachusetts. Caruana is a graduate of Merrillville High School majoring in criminal justice.
Caruana presented "Childlessness and Life Satisfaction in Later Adulthood," co-authored with UE assistant professor of sociology Mari Plikuhn, UE associate professor of sociology, social work, and gender & women's studies Michelle Blake, and fellow UE students Ashlee Niehaus of Huntingburg and Rebecca Reeves of Vincennes.
This year, the Gerontological Society of America's Annual Scientific Meeting brought together more than 4,000 people in the field of aging to participate in over 500 scientific sessions, including paper and poster presentations.
