Daniel Gero of Holyoke wins achievement award at Elms College

CHICOPEE, MA (05/18/2010)(readMedia)-- Danielle Gero of Holyoke received the Mary Connors Viamari Award at Elms College's annual Honors Convocation. The award is presented to a student from the Holyoke area in memory of a dedicated alumna and Holyoke teacher, Mary Connors Viamari, Elms Class of 1950. It was established by her husband, Robert J. Viamari, and Violette Cartier Sweeney, friend and classmate.

Gero was awarded her bachelor of arts degree in mathematical science at Elms Sunday, May 16.
