Daphne Friedman of Potomac Performs in Asylum
CHESTERTOWN, MD (11/20/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Daphne Friedman '16 of Potomac, Md. played a key role in the senior thesis production of Asylum, directed by Hilary Leonard. Appearing as Satan, she and God (Sean Syme '17) talk philosophy with the play's main character, Gary, during his episodes of lucid dreaming.
This was the first production for Friedman, an anthropology major with a minor in drama. She is also a member of the Gamers Guild and the Writers Theater. Regarding her professional future, Friedman wishes to follow her father into academia as an archeologist.
Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
