Daron Forohar Wins George M. Happ Award
Daron Forohar received the George M. Happ Award at the annual College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony on May 17, 2019.
This award is presented to a student with outstanding academic performance and excellence in research in biology. Dr. Happ arrived at the University of Vermont as a professor and chair of the department of zoology in 1978 and was instrumental in transforming the faculty to a teacher-scholar model and prioritized obtaining funding to stimulate research.
