NEW LONDON, CT (05/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Julianna Tatelbaum, a senior at Connecticut College, was awarded the Ruby Turner Morris Prize, which is given to a senior major for excellence in economics and the Macroeconomics Prize, awarded for best intermediate macroeconomics student in calendar year 2010. Tatelbaum was presented with the awards at the annual Honors and Awards ceremony at Connecticut College on April 27.
Tatelbaum, a 2007 graduate of Dartmouth High School, is the daughter of David Tatelbaum of Dartmouth and Susan Tatelbaum of Dartmouth.
At the ceremony, Timo V. Ovaska, Hans and Ella McCollum '21 Vahlteich Professor of Chemistry, gave the keynote address. Dean of the College Community Armando Bengochea and Dean of the Faculty Roger Brooks also congratulated the students.
