David Vaden receives his award from Alison Marr, associate professor of mathematics

GEORGETOWN, TX (03/06/2014)(readMedia)-- David Vaden of Austin received the 2014 Ralph Whitmore Award in Mathematics from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

The Whitmore Award is given to the outstanding senior-level mathematics major or majors, as determined by the departmental faculty. The award is named after a former chair of the Mathematics Department at Southwestern.

Vaden received the award at the University's Honors Convocation March 1.
