David Williams of Wayzata chosen as an Emerging Leader at St. Olaf College

Student honored at Outstanding Leadership Awards Program

NORTHFIELD, MN (04/28/2014)(readMedia)-- David Williams '16 of Wayzata was recognized as an "Emerging Leader" at the recent Outstanding Leadership Awards Program at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. This award is given to three freshman or sophomore students who have played a significant role in enhancing student life.

Williams was recognized for his work with hall council and student government. He has created systems to effectively allocate funding in these groups to provide the best possible residential and co-curricular experience. He was also recognized for creating new dialogue on campus regarding biblical theology.

Williams is a graduate of Orono High School and the son of David Williams and Margret Williams-Larson.
