Daytime Express E-ZPass Lane Closure Scheduled on Turnpike 43

NEW STANTON, PA (05/16/2011)(readMedia)-- The Pennsylvania Turnpike advises Turnpike 43 motorists that the Express E-ZPass Lanes at the M19 Mainline Toll Plaza in Fayette County which is between the Searights Road Exit 18 and Redstone Way Exit 22 will be closed in both directions on May 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Weather permitting, the closure will allow Transcore to perform maintenance on the electronic toll equipment.

Message Boards will be in place to alert motorists of the closure, and direct vehicles to the right of the express lanes, where lanes will be designated as E-ZPass or cash only. Motorist should be aware that the designated E-ZPass lanes have a speed limit of 5 mph.
